Kristine’s Zoosk success story from Buffalo, NY!
Once upon a time, a lonely single mom decided to go on Zoosk to find her long lost love. It took her nine years to muster up the courage to make a change in her life. When she was searching she at first ignored the flirts and winks that were sent to her by a particular suitor. Then one day he was online at the same time as she and decided, “What the heck.” They chatted for approximately two hours. They met the next day at a local restaurant and arrived there at exactly the same time. They conversed for another two hours and it was history from there. Ten days later they were engaged. Zoosk newlyweds: Jessie & Steve from New York
Congrats to Zoosk couple Jessie & Steve from New York State on their wedding this past weekend!
In October 2009 I created an account on Zoosk through the Facebook app. Steve had created his a few months prior in June. After about a month of being on Zoosk, Steve winked at me, I looked at his profile and sent him a wink back hoping he would message me, and he did. After a couple of weeks messaging back and forth on an almost daily basis Steve and I set up a date at a coffee shop. The night before our date he asked me if I wanted to go ice skating that night. I said yes and we met at the local ice rink. We skated and talked about what we had been through and what we wanted out of a partner. After we skated for a few hours we went out to eat and warm up. As the night came to an end we kissed and he drove me home. We went to get coffee the next morning and he asked me if I would be his girlfriend. I decided to give it a shot. In September of 2011 he asked me to marry him. This past weekend on the 22 of October 2011 we got married. We have never been happier. Thank you Zoosk!

“When I heard about Zoosk, I liked the fact that I could use it with my Facebook account and on my mobile phone. After having my profile online for just 24 hours, I received a message from a guy who I thought was cute and seemed to have a lot of interests and hobbies similar to mine. A few days after we started emailing, we exchanged phone numbers and would text back and forth all day long. It seemed like we would run out of things to talk about, but we never did!
No one had ever made me feel as comfortable and content as Chris did. I was immediately drawn to his humor and passion about things he loved. We discovered a mutal adoration for the Utah Jazz, the local NBA team, and even though we have a big rivalry in our college team preference, that’s the one thing we can agree to disagree on.
Just a few days ago, Chris proposed! We are excitedly planning a fall wedding for this year. Without Zoosk, I can’t imagine that we ever would have met each other – we don’t have any friends in common nor do we attend the same school.
